Literature, art and cultural anthropology influence my work and my background blends the functions of librarian, writer, information architect, usability specialist, and artist.

In the past as a teacher I helped students design useful interfaces, while in the role of library manager I worked to make government information accessible to all citizens.

As an information designer I collaborated with small teams architecting large, complex, websites and spoke about web culture. As a letterpress artist I layed out magazine content. And as a writer I drafted business proposals, presentations (ppt) and marketing materials.

Here are a few works representing my skills:

my art: for work or pleasure

my writing:
a cultural analysis of outsider artists
a herb thesaurus for indexing articles, photos, and web pages
a blog called of personal value
a promotional document for work (pdf)

my papers:
     a sample grant proposal (pdf)
the behavior of museum visitors (doc)
representing personal histories in social networks (doc)/(noted)

If you're still curious you can investigate what's on my bookshelf or what my musical tastes reveal about me. But most interesting to me is: What can you tell me about you?
